A Microchurch for Young Families

THE VISION

Parenting is a crazy and disorienting journey. Life moves so quickly and our kids grow up fast. But in all the activities and events, it’s easy to miss what’s most important. 

Are our kids growing up to know and love Jesus? Are they experiencing a faith that excites and inspires them, or does faith seem uninteresting or unimportant?

We are a community of Christian families in Dorchester who are discovering together how to live and love like Jesus and raise kids who know Jesus is awesome because they’ve experienced Him and seen how He changes everything.

Together, we are becoming a new kind of church community. One that…

• Goes beyond talking about Jesus to creating interactive and participatory ways to live out our faith
• Creates kid-inclusive gatherings that work for the whole family
• Fosters community for your kids to connect with other parents and families who are following Jesus
• Helps us become people with a faith worth emulating

THE RHYTHM

We meet (in one format or another) every week; sometimes with the whole family, sometimes just parents. 

• Week 1 of Month: *Family Outing, typically on Saturdays at 10:30AM

• Week 2 of Month: Formation for Parents | Tues 8:45-10PM, on Zoom

• Week 3 of Month: Dad’s Social or Mom’s Social | Timing varies

• Week 4 of Month: *Families Dinner + Bible Study | Tues 6-8:00PM, homes across Dorchester

  *indicates a kid-inclusive gathering

WHAT’S NEXT

Right now, this microchurch is in the Rally stage. We plan to start weekly rhythms (generally on Tuesdays) beginning March 14, 2023. Let’s discover together what it looks like for families to follow Jesus as we grow our connections with God and each other.
