About this event
Can everyday people do something about the gentrification and displacement crisis facing our neighborhood? Join us on Wednesday, Dec 1 to hear the inspiring story of how a black-lead Christian community of grassroots organizers banded together to share homes and resources across socially-prescribed boundaries.
The evening will be a space to spark imagination, to support the work of The Traction network, and to explore concrete, local ways everyday people can combat the displacement crisis and work together for racial justice. This event is hosted by Rooted Collective, a multiracial, grassroots team organizing to promote black homeownership in Boston. Rooted Collective is an expression of The Table movement.
This ticketed event is free to attend although donations to The Traction Network are encouraged. Since space is limited, please click on the Learn More button below to register for a ticket if you plan to attend.
