Friendsgiving: A Liturgy of Thanks

About this event

Let’s gather together to feast on food and gratitude – to orient ourselves around the goodness of our lives and our Creator.
What you need to know . . .
Tickets Required! Space is capped at 30. Save your spot early. We expect to fill up! Click on the Learn More link below to secure your tickets!

COVID Protocol:
Those with *any* symptoms of illness or a known exposure to COVID-19 are asked to stay home.
All attendees are required to have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event.
Masking will be required when people are not actively eating or drinking.

POTLUCK. This Friendsgiving is potluck style with a focus on finger foods. Not everything will be finger foods, but the more the better – let’s get creative! Please bring a main, side, or dessert to share that can be eaten with your hands (or in very small portions ;)).

Sign up at https://tinyurl.com/thetablefriendsgiving2021 to let others know what you’re planning to contribute and get a sense for what we still need.
This is a celebration of thanks, right before Thanksgiving, but feel free to keep things traditional (whatever that means to you) or go your own way. Feel free to add items that aren’t on the list or duplicate something that we might need more of.

LIT·UR·GY. What? Liturgy is a communal response to and participation in the sacred. Our time together will be semi-structured with several interactive and communal opportunities to reflect on and orient around the blessings of our lives. While the foundation of liturgy and some of what we’ll do together comes from the Christian tradition, we welcome everyone – religious or not – to participate in this evening together.
